Just had lunch with Taylor and mum to celebrate mum's birthday. Had the BBC Chicken linguini, Cajon Chicken salad and the sauteed potato. Our complements to the chef - absolutely fantastic. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, one of best meals we have had. Let down by the service a bit. Over all great meal

I have always been a big fan of Barista, however lately I have incredibly disappointed in the snooty staff working there. Especially when I had friends with a small child, they were incredibly unhelpful and intact quite rude. There used to be a friendly and welcoming vibe that I have enjoyed for years, the food is usually good. This problem... More

Although the wait staff could have been a bit friendlier, I still enjoyed the calamari salad which was not over cooked or rubbery as you often get. Very nice flavour combo even though slightly too sweet. The coffee was pretty good as well. Interesting mural and the goodies in the cabinet looked good too. Worth a stop.

My favourite place to meet a friend for coffee. Really love the baked cheesecake. Sometimes there's live music which is always good value.

Great food with ample portions. Excellent value for money. Modern New Zealand menu with plenty of choice.

Good food, good coffee, good service. Easy to find. Interesting decor and the place feels busy and interesting as a result.

Family had brunch here today. Cafe was buzzing with people. So glad I ordered the Calamari Salad. Definately one of the best I've ever eaten. Even though I was full halfway through the meal, I ate it all up because it was so good!! The majority of the family enjoyed their meals, however a some mentioned they preferred their poached... This cafe is very nice coffee great food really nice and pleasant staff. It has a friendly atmosphere, and the only complaint I have is the noise. Acoustics not that great so having to speak louder than normal lets it down. Otherwise all good.

Sunday morning. Service a bit slow to start with. Menu good, not free range eggs or bacon so be wary. All 4 breakfasts were yummy.

Crowded and that usually means popular. My Kingfish was lovely and the fresh salad consisting of a little rocket (not too much) cherry tomatoes, toasted coconut, avocado, cucumber and large chunks of watermelon was just delicious. No complaints at all. George on the other hand ordered steak and medium rare, but it was more medium than rare and I would... More
