There are 3 Yachts which are floating bars just 1 km from Maafushi Harbour. We went to the one run by Kaani Princess. got a free speed boat ride but it was crazily bumpy. when we got off we were dizzy. Drivers were reckless.

Great to enjoy an afternoon watching the sunset, beer in hand, with good friends, and the view of the ocean. Downside was that the boat was full of locals and visitors smoking, smoking smoking. Totally oblivious to the stench of their cigarette fumes. So uncool.
It´s a interesting place to visit at least once, because of the particularity to be a Bar in the sea, which you have to call to pick you in Maafushi to get thereby boat, for free. (mess than 5 minutes distance).

My wife and I had an amazing sunset experience in the middle of the sea on this boat. The Boat condition wasn’t that bad, and we got the best seats as we were early. We took the 5.30pm speedboat that shuttles every 30 mins.
