Good news is the service was great, really friendly , fun, regularly checking if we needed anything else, ambience is light, enough noise without it being noisy made if feel very lively. Food however was a total disappointment, ordered 4 varieties of pizza, base was under cooked, tomato base really lacked any punch or the bold deep tastes you expect... More

Myself and two girlfriends were keen to visit Mr Wolf on a weekend in Melbourne as we all love chef Karen Martini who is on Better Homes and Gardens. We all have her cookbooks. The pizza crust was paper thin and the topping of salami was delicious. The gnocchi was incredible. The place was full of families. It's a great... More

Although a Melbourne resident, this was the first time my husband and i had visited Mr Wolf (although I had wanted to try the food for ages after buying a couple of Karen Martini's cookbooks). The food was fabulous. For mains, I had an extremely tasty thin crust "blonde" pizza with gorgonzola, radicchio and roasted fennel amongst other things and,... More

I need to be clear right up front - this review is not about Mr Wolf. Rather it's the little brother that is the real star – Little Wolf, the much cooler and funkier space adjacent to the main restaurant, that takes on the feel and look of a more cruisey, moody and stylish eatery/bar offering:  laid back style... I have been wanting to go to Mr Wolf for many years. As we live 45 minutes away it is not easy but we had dinner on Tuesday night. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The chicken schnitzel was dry and the accompanying coleslaw was tasteless.

Mr Wolf has two parts to the restaurant, one that is great for families and the other that is good for a quieter meal in trendy surrounds. The food was excellent and fresh and the wine selection also very good.

Mr Wolf is one of our family favourite restaurants. They look after the kids. The simple menu with colouring in and crayons is a winner. The kids love the pizza (margarita... the right size) & the pasta (spaghetti with meatballs). Happy Days!! and if they "eat their dinner", ice cream sundae (complimentary if you order the kids meals by 6.30).... More

Impromptu casual dinner with family and friends turned into a treat night. The service was high quality and made everyone, including the kids feel welcome. The pizza choice matched the plated version and was very good. There was also a great choice of wine and beers. Yes, I would go back.

Food wise Mr Wold focus on modern interpretations of thin crust Italian style pizzas, complimented by a small selection of main dishes and fantastic salad options. The wine list is extensive and well planned, which is great for the grown up, but it is really the service and atmosphere that is a winner here. Perfect pronunciation of the Italian dishes... More

We have been going to Mr Wolf for years. We visited this weekend and unfortunately this place has lost it. The service was terrible, we had to wait at the door for 5 minutes before a member of staff even acknowledged we were waiting to be seated. The pizzas were just average, nothing special! The music was terrible, and we... More
