New owners now but food is still good. Dumplings not as good their previous trademark dish but still very tasty. Atmosphere is not 'eclectic' now but rather lacking in atmosphere. Staff and service excellent.

I have been here 3 times and can't fault it in any of the times. It's out of town about a km and because of that parking is great I've had yum cha here it and was a light refreshing lunch perfect for me. The coffee is good and 7/10 for strong. Read a couple of reviews about bad service... More

By far the worst experience of customer service I have ever come across. I was greeted by a person who gave me the worst attitude. If you dont wish to be abused dont go to this venue. Was going to stay for a coffee but chose to leave.

I stopped going to Eclectic Tastes years ago because the food was hit and miss and staff attitudes could have improved. I was thrilled to see it had changed hands. I did like the quirkiness previously and dont mind the starkness now and had experienced a nice coffee the other week. Today we popped in for lunch it was half... More

$20.00 for bacon and eggs, $17.00 for bacon and egg sandwich (actually a roll). To get the equivalent of a big brekkie will cost $35.00 +. Sorry your food is not that great to warrant these prices. I got the bacon and egg sandwich that is actually a roll, too salty and way too expensively.

Hadn't been to Eclectic Tastes for a while for reasons of cleanliness (their's, not ours!). Now under new ownership, we were very pleased to see its sparkling fresh black and white décor. After popping in for a very fine coffee and delicious muffin we booked for Saturday lunch. It's a small menu, but something for everyone. The seared scallops with... More

We travelled up from Melbourne to have breakfast with my daughter, and it was so worth the trip. I hadn't been to Eclectic Tastes for quite a while and boy the place has changed. The décor is very classy with whimsical touches like the crayons on the table which you can use to write or draw on the paper on... More

I like to support new owners having a go however I must be honest and advise that eclectic taste has changed and not in a good way... My favourite, the dumplings are not pleasant to eat and not the same as before. The menu is brief and the decor no longer has the unique charm. The staff are still lovely.... More

Had lunch at the newly renovated and under new management Eclectic Tastes. We were expecting it to be similar to what it has been for years and years but we were very disappointed. Decor although being fresh is cold and uninviting. Menu was very small. I had a steak sandwich which had parm cheese in it which if you are... More
