Best chips cheese and gravy. Guy was extremely helpful and courteous, had to carry 3 trays back to work and was offered a box (I needed this as I didn't know how I was going to walk back with it all haha), served with a cheerful happy smile. Best of all was that the guys at work and I loved... More

Awful food, over priced and extremely rude staff. Popped in with the kids to grab some lunch and when I asked for Chicken Nuggets the response was 'I'll have to cook them so you'll have to wait' (along with a scowl on her face). Then told me I couldn't sit inside, just really rude.

If you need a snack or drink on the run Cafe Capri is a place to go. The guy who also served me today was a cheerful man. Very nice. Thank you for treating us kindly. Yet again your store complimented our visit to a variety of needs. I saw you have many slices and nice looking sandwiches and rolls... More

Rude staff , food grossly overpriced - $6.50 for a chicken lettuce and tomato sandwich on the smallest thinnest slices of bread you could find, thrown together in the making and thrown onto the plate. Paraded around to see who ordered it( sorry I owned up) . Same with the coffee - people smoking at tables marked mon smoking staff... More

Took my kids after school for special treat, food was old, dried out and over priced. Will not return to this cafe. Very disappointed.

Best for take out. Food here is fast and ordinary. Canteen style and mostly Bain Marie food choices. Plenty of staff and plenty busy. Not quality or quantity. just fast take out

Have eaten here a number of times and customer service has deteriorated considerably. Food has always been overpriced but quick, friendly service has kept us coming back, unfortunately this will no longer be the case.

We had breakfast here recently and the staff and food were fantastic. We arrived at 1140 and breakfast cut off at 1130 but the lovely wait lady said it was no problem and that she would wind back the clock. We had found that although Ballarat was not a country town anymore it had a real country town 'what can... More

I have been going for cappacinos at the Capri, for as long as I can remember and believe its proprietors were the first to introduce espresso and cappicinos into Ballarat somewhere near the middle of last century. They introduced quality Italian cakes and light lunches and also adapted Aussie favourites into their offerings. I confess my Dad, used to have... More
