Excellent choice of baked goods from cakes to danishes and many other items. Huge and tasty coffees are also served for a very good price. Staff were very friendly.

We stopped in at Banjos Bakery Cafe for lunch. It's a very popular place with the locals. The food and coffee were excellent and prices reasonable. The staff are very well organised to deal with the lunch time crowds.

Bought some cheese and bacon rolls and hazelnut hot cross buns. The hot cross buns were delicious, wish I bought more and had tried the scallop pies too.

We were in need of a quick breakfast snack. We had been to a Banjos before and it was pretty good. This one was not as good. Some of the choices had run out which was disappointing.

This is just a very average bakery producing a range of very average pies, pastries and cakes. Don’t expect gourmet chunky beef burgundy pies at Banjos. The emphasis here is on low prices rather than interesting quality creations. And forget about ordering a small side...More

Called in for a coffee and found the home made pies. This place offered a wide variety of food to cater for snacks or lunch however forget the diets and indulge yourself in a real hot pie

Was very disappointed regarding flavour shots. I wanted a peppermint hot chocolate but they did not have that flavour. The lady went on to say they only had original hot chocolate flavour.

Banjo's is a local success story. Great quality pies, pasties, fresh sandwiches & rolls, coffee, cakes & slices. Locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. My favourite pie is beef & pepper (Cape Grim beef) and I'm partial to their date scone too. Today I had ham...More

Decided to have a coffee in the Launceston City Banjos. Lined up as seems to be the norm for this place. Lady in front of me placed her order and left so I stepped up to order. A group of three people didn’t line up...More
