I fancied some Indian food for dinner and was delighted to find that this restaurant was close to my hotel. I ordered Potato and Peas Samosa for entrée, followed by Daal Tadka & Garlic Naan. Service was good & friendly followed by very tasty food. Nice atmosphere, will visit again next time I am in Launceston.

We enjoyed a nice dish of Palak Kofta with Naan, Rice and Samosas - it was really lovely indeed. However the actual experience was a little lacking in good vibes as our male waiter had very obtrusive body odour, so much so that it almost put us off eating. We were also a bit surprised to discover that all curries... More

First time for my friend eat in Indian Restaurant. We decided to visit this restaurant because tripadvisor rate. It was a good dinner. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Beef Vindaloo (really hot), Vegetable Korma, 1 Roti, 1 Naan, and 1 Papadums. We were very very full.. we couldn't finish our food, not because it wasn't good, because it was a big... More

Must do if you like Indian. Vindaloo is hot but addictive. Garlic naan was spot on. You also have a buzzer at your table if you require a drink our the bill. They need another local non commercial Pino by the glass.

Can't rate this place more highly. I would give it 10/5 if I could. Do yourself a favour and get the beef vindaloo. Best vindaloo I've ever had. The service was impeccable, so lovely and attentive. The tables were old converted singer sewing machines which made my experience even better. If you are only in Launceston for a couple of... More

We were staying at the Colonial Hotel just literally round the corner of this restaurant. Being a typical Sunday where nothing was opened, we had little choice but to choose this restaurant which we noticed is opened 7 days a week (Don't get me wrong, I am an Indian food fan). We went across to check at 7:45 pm before... More
