We haven't been here for a while as on our last visit the food was fairly average. We checked out a few other Indian places and whilst they were okay to good we decided to come back and so glad we did. The restaurant seems cleaner, fresher since last visit and service very good. It was very busy for a... More

I had dinner with 6 friends last Friday; the food was standard Indian fare with no frills. The service is quick and people running the establishment are pleasant although not chatty about the food on offer. I found the small café very warm and the tables are close to each other making any private conversations less than ideal. Great for... More

It doesn't look like much and don't go for a classy date but for really great tasting indian food served in a speedy fashion by pleasant staff, this is a winner! Great dishes, standard value and takeaway available if you need a more romantic atmosphere. But then again i found the bollywood video clips on the tv to be entertaining... More

Fake claims of auntenthic indian food..the biriani is just masala mixed with rice and tastes like curry and rice. the chicken tikka and butter chicken had parts of raw masala in it. worst part is not accepting the mistake and not offering a solution and making claims that is how indian food should taste..

This is a locals favourite restaurant which serves good authentic Indian cuisine. Always packed out so make sure you book as it has limited seating. You won't be disappointed..

Indian Empire was shown in our rental apartment guide. Over the New Year holiday we decided take-away Indian was the correct choice. At 6.30pm at night it was packed with diners but our order was taken and executed promptly. The food was was of high quality and exactly what we expected. Well done.

I had the beef vindaloo and my wife had the beef madras - both were delicious. And you have to try the paneer naan.
