The quality of the food at Pierre's is excellent. My Mother had the blue cheese tart with apple and walnuts and it was amazing. The blue cheese in it was not not over powering and the the pastry case was so Light. I had the wild mushroom risotto that was also amazing. The risotto was cooked to perfection and had... More

Where to start? The entrée pate was super cold and would have benefited being taken out of the fridge earlier, and the bread croutes are so dried you needed to be careful not to crack a tooth. The beetroot and caramelised onion tart, had very watery onions with no caramelisation. Mains - the pork belly was still fatty, while the... More

Hi there - If you had said something and let known you were not enjoying your meal we would have certainly addressed things for you - it seems you did not enjoy one dish which is unfortunate as other customers who ordered the same dishes on the same evening very much enjoyed theirs. It's our policy to ' make good... More

We had lunch here before going to the theatre and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Hubby had the roast beetroot and caramelised onion tart, while I opted for the chicken liver parfait. We swapped tastes and both agreed the tart was very tasty but the chicken liver parfait was a touch too sweet for our taste. For main, hubby had... More

Service was great, although the menu was a let down. Has recently been updated so my father said but it's very simple and not a lot of simple meals to choose from. We had a group of 5, booked the day before. Took 15mins to take order, another 25mins before our food came out. Which was too long really but... More

Travelled to Launceston and stayed with cousin. Four of us with two other friends went to Pierre's for dinner last Saturday night. We were not disappointed. The food was so delicious. Small but ample servings. The staff were excellent and looked after us very well. All round a very enjoyable evening.

We dined here for a very special occasion and were so disappointed. The servings were small, only warm and seemingly mass produced. Never again for thecprice.

Thanks for that. It seems you have managed to review a whirlwind of establishments in a very short space of time - if you visited all of these places on the same day that's a top effort. Sorry you didn't like what we had to offer as others do. Oh and mass produced ? That's not what we do here... More

I love to read menus. Needless to say that means I love it when one of my favourite restaurants releases a new one. And the best new item in the new menu is the Mushroom risotto. I don't mean to make it sound like a bottle of wine, but it is such a clean and elegant dish! Highly recommended 😃... More

Thank you for that review. Glad you like the new menu and the risotto. It has certainly won a few hearts in a very small space of time. Using Fresh Tassie mushrooms with a tad of truffle oil - you cant wrong - try slurping down a nice glass of chardonnay or cheeky shiraz to top that one off. Highly... More
