Very expensive!! All our meals were cold. Ordered the Elaia breakfast which was $30 and it was as if it had come out of the fridge. The other three meals were also cold. To their credit we weren't charged. The staff were friendly and polite. Wouldn't go back.

Always great food. Always good service and great location with free parking. ELAIA is a great place to catch up with friends. Its not the cheapest in town but it's one of the best.

A relaxed atmosphere with a modern vibe, this place does everything from sandwiches to beautifully plated meals. The price may be a little expensive but the amount of food is ample enough. Staff were quite busy and a little forgetful but they remedied this by their quick response and friendliness. Adequate beverage menu as well.

Nice little Cafe, friendly staff, poorly made latte. They don't know how to texture the milk but the coffee had a good flavour. I went there because of reviews on this site. I ordered the Elaia breakfast. The mushrooms were pre cooked and soggy, the sausage probably steamed in the oven and not grilled to finish off. I also don't... More

We booked a table on Friday night and got a table outside on the street. We had risotto and fish and chips and it was very good. Wine we choose was Dalrymple and it was perfect with the dinner. Very enjoyable.

Came here to celebrate my daughters birthday. The staff were fantastic!! Very friendly and attentive without being annoying. After a mishap with my meal (at no fault of the wait staff) I got a replacement and it was well worth the wait. Pork belly cooked to perfection. My daughters gnocchi was also delicious and beautifully presented. Only fault was my... More

Our family of 7 dropped in for breakfast and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Our order was taken promptly and delivered in a timely manner despite a busy service. A comprehensive breakfast menu was on offer with all manner of options available. The waitress was attentive, friendly and could not have been more helpful. Under... More

Good breakfast slow service but worth going if in Launceston. We only had breakfast but was good. We asked for bill 4 times and took 20 minutes. Drinks were slow too. But maybe that's Normal here :)

The service .. average to slow Very noisy, cramped table spacing Food is okay but overpriced for what you get Much nicer places to go on Charles Street where you get better quality food and service
