As we had been eating alot on our last day in Launceston we were after something very tasty and healthy. This was the place as I had vegetarian spring rolls cooked to perfection with a tasty dipping sauce. My partner had the BBQ chicken salad...More
What a delightful little find in downtown Launceston, Tasmania.
We dined here recently on a wet, cold and windy Sunday night. The restaurant was packed; a very good sign.

The food was superb. It is a small restaurant, giving it an intimate vibe. The owner, is quite friendly and solicitous of your likes and needs. Unless you come early, i.e., when it opens, get a reservation. Oh, only a short walk from the Charles...More
Lovely place, phantastic staff, good prices and very nice food! I went for lunch and had duck with peanut sauce which was delicious. The menu explains exactly what which curry contains and what it tastes like. I will definitely come back!! Thank you
The Buddha Thai was recommended to us by the staff at the Auldington where we stayed and we weren't disappointed. A good indication that the food is good is if it's busy. We hadn't booked so we had to go for a half hour walk...More

Surprisingly good in a small tourist city. Not too salty and nice that the noodle comes with little species. Portion is good for one person. Good customer service. Looks like it is a busy Thai restaurant in town.
I wanted a Thai meal so I went to Buddha Cafe.
The staff are lovely and the food was very tasty but it was very noisy (it’s a shame some people don’t realise how loud they are). The restaurant was packed early evening.
