Oh how I love Mud Bar! We have been cheating on Mud during the day of late with the new Silos across the bridge but on a return girls evening the other night I can definitely say Mud is my fave. Such great set up...More

Had a night in Launceston and took a punt on Mudbar and so glad we did. The food was beautiful, Asian inspired modern Australian. I had a ridiculously good steak with plum sauce and my partner had the duck which she described as “one of...More

You make the choice - dine indoors or at tables outside overlooking the marina. The large menu has something to tempt every taste and all our chosen dishes were delicious. The table would have been ideal for two but was cramped for three. The front...More

We were hosted by Kieran who was a top bloke and well across the menu. The food was spot on, whether that was the scotch fillet steak or the chilli duck. The oyster sampler is well worth a try. Highly recommended when in Launceston.

The service is faultless, food yummy, location is beautiful especially when the tide is in and you can't see the mud. Tidal rivers all over the world seem to have some degree of mud when the tide goes out.

The restaurant is in a stunning location on the river, with a modern interior with full length windows. The menu has a wonderful selection and the food was very tasty. However the service time is ridiculous. Yes the restaurant was fairly busy, since it was...More

Classic proteins presented with a wonderful twist of Asian flavours. Fresh, a delight to the eye and palette. Oysters a must. Portion sizes generous. Staff, professional friendly and guiding. Wine list most impressive, predominantly local, with the required warmer climate varietals available, and some burgundies...More
