Best breakfast ever! Other meals are fine as well, but brecky is amazing. Staff are really service focused and friendly. Location and decor is beautiful, modern. Gin choice is incredibly broad and focuses on Tasmanian made. This is worth the visit.
We had trouble choosing so we shared two appetisers, (Korean Chicken & Peking Duck Spring Rolls). The duck rolls were fantastic, so full of duck meat & flavour. We had the lamb Rump and Chilli Pork for mains and cleaned the plates. Absolutely perfect and...More
Could not fault the beautiful food and very attentive service. I had the scallop risotto for entree, just delicious and pork for main was to die for. My husband had the quail and steak and could not have enjoyed it more. The wait staff were...More

Visited on a busy Saturday night.
Kung Pao Tofu was delicious.
Wasabi Crème Brulée served with fresh pineapple & sorbet was not overpowering & smooth and creamy.
Great vibes - thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Had the best meal for years here. The lamb was fantastic and the service very good. tables for 2 near the front window were very close together so very hard to have a private conversation but the food made up for that.More

Thanks for your review and I'm pleased you enjoy the atmosphere at Bluestone Bar & Kitchen. One of our chefs is from Korea and is thrilled you enjoy the Korean chicken and the sauce we make onsite.

Thanks for your question. I plan to review the steak with our chef later this week. It is meant to come with buckwheat risotto, mushrooms, a sous vide egg and kale. Is it these accompaniments you felt were pitiful or the 200g steak? I've reviewed the potato with meander valley butter and rosemary today. The dish is designed in quantity to share. We may be better to reduce the quantity and price and design it as a side dish for one as I've checked some of our competitor's menus and their potato side dishes are around $9.50 so I agree we our out of step and should look at reducing the quantity and the price as not everyone wants to share side dishes.
While I can see it is unlikely you will be back to Bluestone Bar & Kitchen, I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback.
