Great tasting Indian food, very authentic. The taste and smell brought me back to India. Service was quick even though they were extremely busy. The food was not changed for western taste so if you don't like spicy this is not the place for you.

Amazing Indian food! We ordered a variety of dishes ... prawn korma, chicken tikka masala, beef vindaloo ... and everyone loved their meals! The naan bread was delicious! It is a BYO restaurant, so remember to take your bottle of wine with you!

Best Indian meal we have had for a long time! As a family of four, we were seated inside and selected the banquet that included four currirs- lentil, chicken beef and lamb- rice, narn bread and papadums and desert. Must say it was the best butter chicken! Anyway, if you are looking for a family friendly restaurant with tasty curries... More

Best butter chicken & Nann bread! Loved it. Not fussed on the beef korma...too bland... But everything else was fantastic!

We stopped in Saturday night. We enjoyed the meal and fast service. Meals has good portions of meat to share one meal between two. Have been before and will come again.

Well we couldn't fault our meal or service the food was up to it's usual standard. Although this is the first time I had been back since they had moved i wasn't disappointed. It is a lot smaller than when it was on Marine Parade, but it didn't matter to us. Nothing was to much trouble and they asked if... More

The takeway i ordered was to be lamb koma which most of it ended up in the Bin.Worst koma i have ever had. Seemed to a yellow sauce made on cream with chunks of lamb. Not a cashew or coconut cream or curry flavour to be had.The fruit Naan bread was great.Do not insult your taste buds on this place.

We had a rare night away from our daughter the other night - she went bowling with Palm Beach cubs and we had an hour for dinner until we needed to pick her up. Coolangatta is a tourist strip of the worst kind. Like Surfers Paradise, it is full of overpriced rubbish restaurants, pokey little $2 junk shops and 'boutiques'... More

Shah Jahan used to be excellent when it was on Marine Parade. The new venue has no atmosphere compared to the previous location. Despite this and perceived change in the flavour we still dine there. We visited midweek and at 7pm the restaurant was empty. We usually order the Shah Jahan curry and it was no where near as nice... More
