Boring and bland, fried dumplings were just like a ball of meat and filled with water and hardly fried. The crumbed and fried prawns $18 for 6, don't know if it was the oil but just tasted like something I could get at a fish and chip shop for half the price. Mochi ice cream I don't know if they... I travel to Japan a lot for business and know the food very well, Ropponggi is not Japanese, it is some kind of dumbed down interpretation of someone's figment of what they think Japanese might be. Avoid at all costs if you want a real Japanese experience.

I've been here a few times and the service is always good, the atmosphere is nice, the food is always delicious and the prices are reasonable. Also, you can BYO or buy alcohol at the restaurant. I recommend the sashimi platters, the Drunken Chicken and the garlic scallop dish.

Roppongi is one of those little gems in Wollongong that we visit because of the consistently good food and service. The meals are authentic and it's great for diners on a budget. I usually byo as the wine and beer menu is very limited but the corkage is cheap.

We go here quite a bit. It's a stalwart for Japanese in Wollongong and rarely fails to deliver. Food is good, service is good. Nothing fantastic but never bad. Great for a casual dinner.

great little Japanese restaurant. Good menu choice and I've never been disappointed. Food always well presented. Staff are attentive and are quick to address your needs. If you like Sushi - this is the place.

I have been visiting this Japanese restaurant for a number of years - always satisfied with their food & service. Vegetarian options as well as pure meat. Freshly made to order sushi & a good selection of Japanese drinks.
