The stunned mullet is a special treat and delight if you have some cash to splash and want to try the very best. Nothing comes near their amazing oyster flavours and margaritas. The deep sea dish is an interesting experience to try something new but not if you're starving and could eat a horse as the portion sizes are small... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2016

A wonderful experience - unlike many city restaurants, the focus here is on the customer. a professional approach to ensure the customer has a great experience and goes home happy. The difference between Automata where i'd eaten a couple of nights earlier and Paper Daisy where I ate the night after was quite marked - at these, you felt you... More

Fantastic lunch. Toothfish was excellent also the entrees and desserts. Beats Sydney restaurants. Our 3rd visit but not our last.

We knew this would be a special meal from reviews we had read, and we were not disappointed. Service was very professional and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Oysters and the scallops were lovely. The Glacier Fish was also as good as expected. The wine list was amazing and such an interesting range of local and imported... More

A classy little eatery in a prime location. The atmosphere is spot on and although the restaurant was near capacity the noise level was subdued and conversation was easily achieved. The food arrived in surprisingly quick time considering the full patronage. For us both mains were over seasoned and when mentioned to the staff they took this on board and offered us complimentary... My husband and I were keen to try this restaurant after reading the many 5 star reviews, but were very disappointed with our experience. Upon arrival we found the maitre d' abrupt in his manner, and he turned his back to us for before ushering us to a tiny corner table, at the back, seated at right angles to each... More

As a regular holidayer in Port Macquarie, I am mystified as to why it has taken me until now to visit the Stunned Mullet. What a great restaurant! The food was excellent and interesting. The service was highly professional yet friendly and relaxed. Don't be like me and put off visiting the Stunned Mullet - get there and enjoy all... More

We returned to Stunned Mullet a few weeks ago with a very good friend who really knows his food and wine. Lou, the owner, never fails to impress. As usual the food, wine and service was first class. The courses were unique, interesting and superbly presented. We chose a half bottle of white and red to compliment our entrée and... More

Went with another couple. We were delighted with the menu and the wonderful wine selection. The waitress was a chef herself and had knowledge of everything to do with the wine and food. It was so interesting to be informed on the nature of what you ate and drank. All of it as a true delight.
