Found this little gem by accident while getting a bottle of wine accross the road. Told the family we would try it. So glad we did. I booked a return the same night. Quality of food is excellent....and the Sushimi was extraordinary. Great atmosphere. I recommend the sashimi and the dinner box.

Had a dinner box which was extremely satisfying and filling. Great mix of food provided and all freshly made. Good size crowd eating in and a large number of takeaways being supplied.

Have eaten here half a dozen times in the last year. Its the best Japanese restaurant in port for the food i think and the crowds support that. Most nights its very loud and some ceiling noise dampening tiles and carpet would help but its the food you go for. always friendly, real fresh sushi, lunch take away specials for... More

After moving from an area which had amazing Japanese, it's hard to find anything as good as home. But this comes very close! The food is delicious. The staff are friendly. I would recommend eating here if you ever have a craving for Japanese!

You wouldn't think a Wednesday evening during the school term time would be busy but this place was packed and having been there I know exactly why. Fresh food, good service and BYO all added up to a lovely evening with friends.

We chose to have several dishes from the Sushi Bar Menu and all 7 dishes we had selected were great. The food was excellent and comparable with some of the expensive Japanese Restaurants we have visited in Sydney. The main difference was the price as our bill last night was less than half what we would have paid in Sydney.... More

Up in port visiting friends and they took us out to this fabulous restaurant. I've eaten at many Japanese restaurants in Sydney but this one in port has to rate very highly in my book. I would totally recommend it. Food was fresh and generous.

Visited this restaurant for the first time following a suggestion from a friend. We arrived a little after noon to find the place three quarters full already with others arriving just after us. I ordered one of the daily specials and was not disappointed. Very tasty and plenty of it. The staff are prompt and service is very quick but... More

I have been to Sushiko several times. I have tried different dishes most times. My favourite is the katsu chicken, although everything has been tasty and nicely presented. Service is fast and friendly. I would suggest you make a reservation. The only problem is that the restaurant is small and popular. Without a reservation you may not get a table.
