We had a function upstairs and it was perfect. This place has come along way from 20years ago. We had finger food and it was substantial and of high quality. The staff were so friendly, atmosphere inside and out was amazing (the place has been done up beautifully - tiles and furnishings are on point). The drinks menu has a... More

This place is right on the hunter river and has views of the huge cargo ships coming thru the heads - tug boats are always on the prowl and the cruise ships also stop by. The Queens Wharf Hotel - or the Brewery as I used to know it, is a great place for lunch. Good food and usually good... More

Been here several times, staff have always been lovely. Went for the Seafood Mezze last night and it was amazing. A lot larger in real life than it appears in the photos with delicious fresh seafood. We were served by the French guy and two girls in the bar who provided excellent service. The only thing which would have improved... More

We have just moved to the area and visited here last thursday 23rd February. Asked politely if we could possibly have some olives on... More

Our second visit to this pub. I eat whole foods and struggle to find places that offer fresh, delicious dishes. My east pumpkin with Pearl cous cous was amazing. The salt and pepper squid was also terrific. Great service from a charming French guy topped the day. Well done!

Had the prawn and mango salad washed down with Stone & Wood Pacific Ale - in the sunshine. Very nice.

We went on a very hot day for a late lunch. To our surprise, they serve food all day until 11pm. We went upstairs to catch the cool breeze and enjoy the comings and goings of Port Newcastle. The service was very friendly, the burger was delicious and to top off the meal, there was live music with the other... More

Cool spot to relax and have a quiet drink on the riverfront watching the boats come and go. Food is your average pub grub menu but of good quality. They have live music on the weekends.

Came up for work a night early and was attracted the the music as I was looking for a pub to eat at. $6 schooners and $10 pizzas were great value, pretty young crowd but would have been great fun if I'd wanted to stay for a few.
