The venue itself is beautiful, view is amazing. Booked for a special occasion lunch for 5. The meal was only just, Corn bread to start was burnt and sent back. The table shared dozen oysters which were fine. The mains were just Oknothing at all special. For the cost of the meal there are better restaurants in Newcastle. We will... More

Quality ain't cheap and nor should it be. This venue gave our large group a quality of service second to none, excellent food which we chose from a wide and varied menu plus the joy of watching whales and surfers from it's panoramic beachfront windows. Rest assured that it is worth the money.

Jonah's had an excellent - if expensive - menu. At about $25 E, $42 M & $16D - thought the dessert price excessive for the offerings available. A bottle of sparkling mineral water $12. Good wine list- again not cheap - $9 - 15 per glass . Service is wonderful and friendly and atmosphere is very pleasant. Summary - good... More

Stayed at Noah's on the Beach for an evening and had my dinner here. After a slow start, probably due to staff not coming on until after 7.00pm, the meal was excellent. I can recommend it.

I am going to Jonahs on Thursday night for dinner but have dined there many times. Really nice for large groups or just couples. The food is exciting and the service good. We go there every year at Christmas for our staff Christmas dinner.

Lunch with family today for Lynns 60th birthday. Excellent views, great service and great food. There was another large group of diners at the restaurant and Lynn knew the birthday lady there which was an amazing coincidence. Same birth date and same restaurant.it was her 70th. Overall a great day. Thank you Jonahs.

As a family of 3, we ate from the bar menu. We had the cheese platter which was really good and some aracini balls which were lightly crumbed and delicious. Some wedges and the best strawberry milkshake EVER according to the 13 year old. A great selection of wine by the glass topped of a great experience

Day off from work, spectacular scenery on train ride from Sydney to Newcastle, great walk along harbour foreshore in sunshine then up over to the ocean side and stunning views across beach and up the coast. The lunch had to be good to keep up with day so far! We weren't disappointed. The location and view from Jonah's was brilliant,... More

I was watching the whale spouts while eating breakfast and the waitress got out their telescope viewer so I could see the details and whale tails.

The service and surroundings were exceptional. Well done to the waiting staff. Dessert was also very delicious. Unfortunately our mains were not cooked well. My partner's $42 medium rare steak was undercooked and poorly seared. The accompanying potatoes were hard in the middle. The king prawn pasta main course was delicious, except for the overlooked and rather tough prawns. We... More
