Went for lunch and it was very average. Poor service, luke warm coffee and had to ask for it to be reheated which made the staff snarl. Seats are just slabs of wood.. some cushions would be to much ask for i guess. The food was expensive and very drab with no real appeal. You can easy find much better... More

The Goldfish bowl is a consistently good cafe with delicious breakfasts and lunches as well as Pizza Friday. Their sourdough bread is great and worth a visit for that alone. Highly recommend the Gold Fish Bowl.

The worst I can say about this cafe is that it is so popular that it is always crowded! Definitely Armidale's most hipster hangout, with amazing sourdough bread, a consistently creative and fresh menu, and hospitable and friendly staff.

We're regulars at the GFB and have never been disappointed in any aspect of the service or food. The coffee is addictive as are the croissants. All the bread and bakery is made on the premises and is quite spectacular. The pizzas on Fridays are the best I've had this side of Rome.

Have breakfast at Goldfish Bowl and take the last opportunity on the highway to buy your loaf of wood-fired sour dough. Coffee and breakfasts are delicious - lunch menu also looked good. We love this place.

We dropped in here for breakfast and the service and food were excellent. I had vanilla creamed rice and my husband had scrambled eggs. The creamed rice was very yummy and the eggs were fluffy and beautifully cooked with great sour dough which they make themselves. The serve of eggs was large my hubby couldn't finish it which is unusual.
