We had a dinner with friends. Food is good. Tasty and beautiful. Love their staff, very friendly and well trained. Recommended Lamb dish! So delicious!

We ate breakfast at the Observatory three mornings while we were in the hotel. We did not pay separately for the buffet, but I think I saw that the price was $28. That seems a bit high, but the food and service were very good for breakfast. It is basically buffet style with a custom order grill for omelets and... More

The menu has about the standard option you would expect in a hotel however it was executed well and I enjoyed my meal. The menu could do with putting on some nice local dishes which is always a good thing to have. No complaints here and had a good meal.

Typical of a hotel restaurant and this is hard to quantify but these restaurants are always different from those in the town. Having said that, the service was very friendly and the freshly baked bread arrived quickly. The crab and scallop ravioli was nice but not quite as expected and the carpaccio good. The mains of steak and lamb were... More

I experienced some lovely service from staff at this restaurant, and had a lovely meal. What lets it down is the atmosphere, which wouldn't take much to improve for an evening meal.

Went here for dinner it was terribly unorganized the manager Lyndsay was extremely rude to her staff that where doing the best job they could considering how unorganized it was. She really needs a lesson in managment and and manners!!

We booked a table for 7 pm and there were a few diners already in the restaurant but it wasn't as busy as I would have expected considering the size of the hotel. We both had two courses starting with the crab and I had the lamb for my main. Food was good and although there was not a huge... More

We were exhausted one night and decided just to head down to the hotel restaurant for dinner. My husband had the fish and I chose the soup and chicken special they had that evening. The soup wasn't very good and the chicken was dry but tasted ok. My husband said his fish was slightly overcooked and tasted pretty bland. The... More

We were the only customers when we arrived for an early dinner. My expectations were set for a captive-market hotel meal and boy was I surprised; the food is actually very good. Service was good but suffered from being a bit over the top presumably due to the lack of customers. Another couple came in half way through our meal... More
