We went to The Bunker for Christmas Eve. They had a set menu that day so the choices were limited and the price high. We both ordered the venison as our main. I found it too undercooked for me and the chef nicely cooked it...More

From beginning to end the atmosphere, food selection and accompanying wines were sensational. The waiting staff were nothing but attentive, friendly and informative. I had the seafood version of the menu and I have to say the abalone was delicious. I can’t say that I’ve...More

Excellent margheritas. Sat next to a roaring fire which was super warm on a freezing night. Fantastic music too. Highly recommend for a chilled out evening

Wow! The best dinner I’ve had in months! Don’t waste time by going anywhere else. The chef here really knows how to prepare a variety of foods, how to plate them, and how to offer appropriate portions. For a starter, we ordered olives and ciabatta....More

Great fireplaces for a quick or long drink outside. We went on a Monday night so it was a little quiet but it’s a cute location.

Warm fire, an extensive menu of local food and wine and great service on our visit to the bunker. All our meals were excellent and hard to fault. Wine options were excellent too.

Came here with a friend two nights in a row, Taniwha on the door is the best door man in the town. Welcoming, friendly and remembered our names. Will come back here plenty.

I've been to most restaurants in Queenstown and this is the best fine dining experience I've been to. Staff make you feel at home, and the tables are arranged so that you don't feel suffocated by other diners. As far as food it's range is...More

I wore black jeans when I went and I was fine, most other diners were in the same nice casual wear. If you're someone who gets warm easily just be wary, they do have a wood-burning fireplace going (at least when I went) and... More
