Caught up with friends here and had a good quiet drink. Very nice and covered off from the street and plenty of beers to choose from. The staff were good with our younger child and the generous size plate of chips also helped.
Top service, top quality, top meals.
The cheese platter was voted the best any in our group had ever enjoyed in a restaurant with a great variety of sampling’s.
The bangers and mash will also never be forgotten.
Whipped out the little ones nuggets and...fries immediately when requested.

My family and I found this little gem while walking around Queenstown, trying to look for a vegetarian restaurant. Excellent customer service from the Walsh Lady! She recommended the vegetarian pasta and the vegetable & Pumpkin soup in which we tried. You will not be...disappointed! I must say this was the best vegetable & Pumpkin soup and the pasta dish was also amazing! Absolutely Delicious! We will definitely be back before we fly home!More
We arrived at 9pm with regret at the late time but the staff weren’t phased we were greeted with a big smile and friendliness, I ordered the steak which was a little underdone but was fixed up pronto and was so yummy!
if you are looking for a good pub meal do not go further than this. We were served by an engaging and friendly wait person and treated ourselves to the sausages and mash option which we had been recommended by a travelling companion. We were...not disappointed. Really tasty locally produced sausages with lashings of onion gravy, peas and mash accompanied by a very good Yorkshire Pud (confirmed by a friend from England).More
Conveniently located in the heart of Queenstown, this little gem was a pleasure from start to finish. Friendly and efficient service followed up with some amazing food, I highly recommend the beef burger! Big, juicy and a great blend of flavours. Big thanks to our...waitress Alice for her brilliant service.More
We went to Speights because we go there regularly at home and it had a good kids menu and we had a toddler to feed. She loved the bangers and mash. I had the wild venison and it was beautifully cooked medium-rare, and it had...three good hunks of meat. The other meal was fish and chips and was great too. Service was mixed. Our waitress didn't bother giving us a drinks menu or even advising us there were specials We only found out because we heard the other waitress talking about specials after we had placed our order. The other waitress also decided it might be a good idea to offer our toddler something to colour in. One clearly was going through the motions...More
