Roaring Megs is an elegant restaurant in Queenstown, with white tablecloths, attentive service and an excellent wine list. It is a small, family owned/run place and reflects the care and dedication of chef Jeanneret. The menu is not extensive, but every item is carefully prepared...More

The entrance was a little hard to find...look for indoor steps! The restaurant which is upstairs had a cosy old fashioned ambience. The waitress was a delightful girl who was a little under pressure as she was the only one there at 7pm. She coped...More

The herb crusted rack of lamb is so succulent and cooked to perfection. Our whole family enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend to anyone who love lamb. Another dish to try is the warm prawns salad. It’s so yummy; a good mixed of East meet...More

Wonderful dinner in this lovely restaurant. Would suggest you make a reservation in advance. A little pricy but worth every cent.

The award-winning lamb dish was excellent - totally deserving of the 'Best lamb dish' award which it has won twice. The service was OK - the entrance to the restaurant is often untended and we were left wondering where all the staff were, as were...More

We had a good dinner there but were put off by the upcharge "due to more demand in high season". Lamb was quite good, but undercooked somewhat. We felt it was expensive for what we got. Service was very good.

Booked well ahead but restaurant quite quiet which the restaurant said was unusual. Lovely pork belly starter and lamb main. Very tasty. Waitress was really nice and welcoming.
