We came in on a busy night in Queenstown. The lady working there had to make a table up for us and told us to wait by the bar. As we waited someone near the window was leaving... as she had only wiped the table...More
What a lovely restaurant! We had the perfect tables (are group of 15) right in front of the windows with the nighttime view of the harbour. The restaurant is upstairs but there is a lift for east access. Lots of choice on the menu and...More
We went for breakfast on a morning where it wasn’t very busy. The breakfast bar has a small selection of food placed on a table that is usually reserved for dining.
The (supposedly) hot food was barely lukewarm or just cold, some seemed like it...More

Thats rubbish: Yes, we use a large 3 metre clothed round table for our buffet. It gives lots of room for people to walk around without congestion. Yes, it does get re-clothed and used by other diners for lunch and dinner after the breakfast diners...More
Absolutely stunning views and atmosphere. Meal was great and staff friendly. Enjoy the special menu before 6.30pm... such great value! Amazing views of lake as night falls. Highly recommend. A highlight of dining in Queenstown
We ate at 5.00pm so it was quiet. There was a couple of waitresses but they still seemed rushed and ill trained. We had to remind them for our drinks, and when we asked what the vegetable of the day was we were informed it...More

The appetizer was delicious but we waited almost an hour to get it. The wait staff seemed in no hurry to serve us and even then, we sat with empty glasses after being initially attended to. With such an incredible view and prime location, one...More
Absolutely terrible. Understaffed, rude manager and very average food... should I even mention the decor?? Embarrassing how the manager wanted to argue about the vomit chowder. All potato and no seafood. I felt sorry for the rest of the staff as you could tell they...More
TL;DR: only edible food, rude service, staff training required.
Once we sat down, we were promptly greeted by a waitress who advised of the lunch specials (which agreed with the board displayed outside of the restaurant). Then, the following happened.
1. My seafood chowder was...More

I am sorry about your order. We had two orders of steak sandwiches and whilst yours was ready at the same time as the Chowder the waitress took yours to the wrong table. A stupid rookie mistake made by her that should never happen and...More
We popped in for a Friday night dinner, but didn’t get as far as ordering. Yes, it is in a good spot so the view is nice, but everything else looked gross. The chair I was presented with was completely peeled away, flaking everywhere so...More
