Finz Seafood & Grill has a great location right on the waterfront in the upmarket Steamer Wharf Dining precinct in Queenstown where you can watch the TSS Earnslaw Steamship head off on her cruises and keep an eye on people strolling along the Wharf. Whilst specializing in seafood, Finz will also tempt you with cuts of Prime New Zealand Beef and Southland Lamb. All ingredients used to create these tasty seasonal dishes are selected by the Chef Owners from the wonderful array of premium produce on Queenstown’s doorstep. Finz has been a popular choice with Queenstown diners for over 13 years and offers a unique dining experience right on the lakeside.

Finz came well rated not only by TA, but also our lodging. We enjoyed the food, internal vibe, and external views including a visit by the Earnslaw ship when it docked just outside the restaurant. Mighty westerly and chilly wind gusts up the lake as...More

We went for a meal here and got the seafood platter, fish tacos and sticky date pudding for dessert. The service by Alec was unbelievable! The food was perfect. My favorite restaurant I’ve tried in queenstown in the six months I’ve lived here. Highly recommended.

We recently visited after hearing good reviews. The restaurant itself is nice, but perhaps slightly dated. I had a T-Bone steak which really wasnt that great. The butter on top was cold and hadn't been melted in. The truffle mash was extremely overpowering and dominated...More
