Popped in with friends for a post dinner drink. Great bar and friendly staff. A little hidden gem just off Queenstown Mall.

Popped in with friends for a post dinner drink. Great bar and friendly staff. A little hidden gem just off Queenstown Mall.

We popped in here one evening as I remember this place from years ago when I frequented QT. It was all much the same, nice fire, low light, nice place to have a drink. But no Mulled Wine as expected- disappointing. Had a nice cocktail...More

We had great after dinner cocktails (sazerak and a gin martini) made with a lot of pride and professionalism. Not to be an old fogie, but although the music was good it was a bit loud and we struggled a bit to have a conversation....More

Our group of 8 piled in to this stylish bar in one of the mall’s alleyways for a pre-dinner. An intimate setting with dimmer lighting, warm decor and a huge fireplace. The drinks list was excellent as was the music - great sound system and...More

I wrote a review when my husband and I visited in 2012 and have subsequently visited in 2013, 2014 and 2015. It's a great bar, only let down in 2014 due to some obnoxious patrons who didn't understand the concept of "indoor voices" or "personal...More

We were looking for somewhere nice with a big comfy couch and fireplace where you could sit and relax and this is the perfect place to do that. Has to be one of the best finds we have had in Queenstown, if you like a...More

Like lots of the small wine bars in Queenstown they are hidden away but if you search them out, they are worth it. Bardeaux is very cosy. Sink into the very comfortable lounge in front of the fire and you wont want to leave. They...More

Stopped by after doing an event at the Luma festival. The place was hidden in the back and didn't look any different from other bars on the outside. Inside there is an enormous fireplace with couches nearby. The bar was quite large and there was...More

This intimate quiet bar offers a central place to meet with friends for a drink. The fire was roaring and a bit too warm to sit beside so we opted for a table towards the back , but still warm. Staff are cheerful and efficient

A roaring open fire, really comfortable leathers sofas, an extensive bar with about a dozen different gins, great music like Steve Ray Vaughan and Otis Reading.

Intimate venue with low lighting and huge open fire. Fabulous bar which is generously stocked and adds to atmosphere of this bluesy place. Impressive.

Dear god the cheeseboard is unbelievable, like THE best cheese purchase of my entire life. We enjoyed a great bottle of wine by the fire. Seriously though- buy the cheese.

We went here later night. The staff was amazing and dealt with my group's ridiculousness from the very beginning. Excellent cocktails. If you tell them what alcohol and flavor you like, they will make you something excellent. We had a good time.

Bardeaux is a pleasant stylish bar tucked away near the center of Queenstown. It’s a nice getaway from a busy day to sit, relax, enjoy the fireplace, and have a drink. It’s dark and quiet inside. The service is friendly and afternoons tend not to...More

Came here with my nan and a friend, we ordered a cheese board which came out very well presented. Enough for three people. Excellent service. Cocktails were on point too.
