We have breakfast here every day when we stay in Queenstown, it is our favourite. Everything is cooked to perfection, nothing is a problem at all, even triple cooked toast 😂 Thanks so much for always spoiling us, Team - you are all amazing x

Was in the mood for a good breakfast so we pop by the hotel for a breakfast. At the moment they only have table serving which make it a little bit complicated but our experience was really like a dream anyway! We set for the...buffet and we got told we could order whatever we want in the menu as many time as we want . That how I imagine breakfast in heaven ! We of course set to try all the food in the menu! All the dishes was beautifully cooked and our favorite was the omelette If u want to spoil yourself for a good breakfast this the place in Queenstown.More

The Left Bank is located in the Sofitel Hotel and is French Themed like the rest of the Hotel. The service is nothing short of exceptional, and the French-inspired food is absolutely delicious. There are plenty of options and everything is cooked fresh to order,...and to your liking. We have breakfast here every day while in Queenstown and love that the staff makes an effort to get to know you well. We have made some special friends here and memories that we will treasure forever. Huge thank you to Matthew and his incredible Team. You always look after us so well, and we cannot wait to come back and see you all again soon.More

Done like a Queen in the beautiful surroundings and decor in this restaurant nestled inside the Sofitel. Great drinks and wine list, friendly staff and outstanding food. If you have not considered dining at a hotel do consider this one!

During our stay at the Sofitel we had breakfast included in our daily rate, and what a steal that was. The food in Left Bank was amazing, the breakfast every morning was delicious. There were plenty of options from continental to hot buffet foods to...on request omelettes. I would stay at the Sofitel again just to have breakfast here!More

My boyfriend and I went to Sofitel to have breakfast last week. The Sofitel Cafe has been an unexpected surprise! The location itself is cosy and relaxing, perfect to start the day before walking around busy Queenstown. On top of the buffet, you can choose à...la carte breakfast dishes. I had nutella pancakes ( delicious) and my boyfriend had the eggs benedict. So tasty and well prepared! We found the buffet way better than other places in Queenstown we have tried. We really enjoyed the fresh juices and the pastries. Also, the coffees we had were really good. The staff was kind and friendly, ready to help and give recommendations. I would recommend it to everyone staying in QTMore

Beautiful restaurant, although staff weren't very attentive given there was only us and one other table. We went with First Table, I always wonder if staff care less when they know the diners are paying half price! We ordered a French onion soup to share...and a main each. The mains arrived first, and then the soup a few minutes after, which was odd. The soup was delicious though, highly recommended. The mains were massive, we didn't need the soup! My husband enjoyed the beef burger, but way too many sweet potato wedges. I enjoyed my vegetarian dish, I took half home for lunch the next day.More

It is a small cafe with a small buffet breakfast selection but you can also order from the menu. Wrong place to be if you are in a hurry to go somewhere as the service is generally slow. Food is at best, average. Staff are...generally friendly though.More

We had dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday and the staff treated her like a queen. They even gave her a complimentary glass of her favorite champagne. Full marks to them. We had a delightful evening. The atmosphere was sophisticated and while some tables seemed...too close together, ours had some space between us and the next one. The menu has a very good variety of dishes that caters to all tastes. The prices are quite expensive, but the quality of the food we chose was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed every course. The wine list covered all varieties and price points. Nothing could be faulted throughout the entire evening. We recommend this restaurant with absolutely no reservations. It is an ideal venue for a special occasion in particular.More

My girlfriend and I had dinner at Left Bank on a Friday night. Very cosy place where we felt good enough to stay a couple of hours. The food was awesome, we had snails and then the winter special "raclette" cheese, which brought us back...straight to France, so yummy. Alexia always kept an ear out in case we needed something and gave us good advice about wine. Would defo recommend to go and try their french cuisine specialities if you spend time in Qt. Thank you team, we will come again for sure!More

Booked this lunch from first table. Never heard about this place before. So we had a zero expectation and we were so surprised in good way. We ordered seafood chowder and French onions soups. Both of them was absolutely delicious. The seafood chowder was TOP...never had a better. The presentation was also really nice. Than we had a vegetarian lasagna - really nice too such a big portion, the boys ordered duck dish that was tasty too and my friend ordered a beef steak with ratatouille it was very tasty too. We were satisfied until we ordered the desserts....after all this beautiful and tasty dishes we were so curious how is the desserts. We did ordered one of each from menu. Sadly none of the them was good. The pancakes with the caramel was so sticky and the alcohol so strong. The sticky date could be more moisturiser and please do not serve the strawberry witch is already off... The lemon tart was not too bad but the presentation was disaster. The creme brulee was OK. Really disappointed. However the man who served us was really nice very professional. We are definitely coming back just not ordering deserts next time. Hardly recommended super cool place with delicious food for a reasonable price. Good jobMore
