The food was amazing, the best meal we have had in Queenstown. We ordered a bit of everything, pasta, gnocchi, pizza, lasagne, ravioli and dessert, everyone was ecstatic with the food served. From the adults to the smallest children, not a scrap of food was...left behind!More

Excellent ravioli and focaccia meal. Our 1st meal in Queenstown and I have a feeling it won’t be the last! Food was fresh, delicious and made with quality ingredients. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our meal.

Hi, thanks a lot for visiting us. We are happy you enjoyed the meal, hope to see you again! Grazie, ciao Giovi
I had the best pizza in New Zealand after 4 years of being here. I am from Italy and I just can’t stop smiling for how freaking good it was. I had the special speck and porcini and WOW - grazie mille, torneró!

We had the most amazing service from Teo, super kind and helpful!!! Bravo!! Miss amatricana from the menu.

Food wasn’t great to be honest. Average at best. If I had wanted Parmesan on my tagliatelle I would have asked for it…as a consequence I could barely eat my meal. Tiramisu was sloppy.

I don’t usually post negative reviews but I must make an exception here. After checking on-line and when I entered the place, my expectation was to get a proper home-style / authentic Italian meal. The food was disappointing and the service bordering on rude. Simple...things such as requesting another table (when most tables were empty) due to the direct glare / sunlight from the sun was not welcome, we felt! In the end, they did it reluctantly. One of us asked for chilli flakes - to be told curtly, “we don’t have chilli flakes, we only have chilli oil.” The young girl who served us never smiled or had eye contact with us. The senior lady was curt and negative- it felt as if we were unwanted guests - something which very rarely happens in New Zealand. Was there a redeeming feature? Yes, the service was super quick!! I don’t think I will be dining here again.More

Booked a table for 6 last night and was very disappointed due to limited menu options available, food served cold, old food (lasagna was dry, uninviting), service was slow and food was overpriced. No clams, no pizza etc. Worst Italian restaurant we have ever been...to. Not recommended!More

We went to visit The Remarkables Town Centre but were underwhelmed. Whilst there we enjoyed lunch at this Italian Restaurant. We shared two pizzas- a capri and a vegetarian with added salami. Pizzas were very good and service by the young girls was great.

Great little restaurant. Walked up no booking. Accommodated us and then the food was Devine. In fact better than what we ate in Italy

They import their wine from their family vineyard in Italy. It is unlike any wine, any of us have ever tasted. Absolutely stunning ! Authentic pasta made in house. Lovely pizzas and fresh pasta. They are about to open a second shop in central Queenstown....I would suggest if you like creamy pasta ask for a creamy version, as authentic is a little different to our tastes. The chef quickly altered , and it was beautiful.More

After returning to Queenstown from the Otago Rail Trail, our party of 7 wanted a nice place to celebrate the end our trip. Giovi was the place: Fantastic host, great food, and great service. It was like being in a little piece of northern Italy....A real treat.More

We have been to Giovi's quite a few times really like it but tonight was the best ever! I am going to call it - the gnocchi was the best I have ever had! Ravioli was awesome too and deserts were fantastic. We will continue...go to Giovi's as long as they keep serving great food!More

Lovely ambience, mussels were great, as was the service and atmosphere. The Aperol spritz were a bit alcohol free for my taste but there you go! All in all, a great place to go to and open for hours to suit the customers. A welcome...development in Queenstown!More

The Food was great: it is very hard to find such good Italian food outside of Italy! And the stuff was as wonderful as the food! Definitely going back!

Hi there thanks for your review, we are very pleased you enjoyed you time with us we are looking forward to see you soon Ciao from Giovi
