After reading several of the great reviews on this site we decided to dine at V Know on our first night in Queenstown. It turned out to be one of the better decisions of our trip! Both our meals were cooked to absolute perfection. My partner and I are now worried that we might never eat anything as good again!... More

First night in Queenstown we stumbled upon this place and were absolutely dumbfounded! The food, the atmosphere and the drinks were incredible. We ordered the rib eye and the gnocchi and were just in heaven. The steak was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by the perfect sides. I am a very fussy and plain eater and found that I... We visited by recommendation of locals! Heaps of locals and they do takeaways (seemed very popular) here. Venison ragout pasta was very very good, staff very nice, good list with local beer Kea (recommend) and local wine. Staff well trained and quick service. The interior is not just the ordinary normal stuff: the wall at the entrance is covered in... More

Absolutely delicious food a must try when you are in Queenstown...... It's out of town but worth the taxi ride if you don't have a rental car. First time here my partner had the caramelized onion an buffalo cheese pizza to start and the steak main. The steak was cooked perfectly, my partner did not fault the meal.... to my... More

Came here for dinner with friends on a chilly night. Restaurant was close to our accommodation so was handy. Service was good, place is warm and cozy. We ordered starters of venison bruschetta and a few pizzas which were really yummy particularly the Salmon pizza. A hidden gem in Queenstown!

Well recommended and included on our recent trip to Queenstown as that 'special' meal out to celebrate a birthday. Bit of a trick to find (as not on Fernhill Rd) but once there - easy parking, great atmosphere (sort of italian/rustic) and a friendly host to greet you on arrival. I was going to score the restaurant a 4 purely... More

This is a 6-7 minute drive out of Queenstown in a residential area, but well worth it. The food is absolutely first rate, different from the usual tourist menu, served by one of the owners in afriendly, laid back but efficient manner while the other owner cooks - brilliantly! Very informal, unusual, relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere . Great wines, great food and excellent value for money. No views, but if you're concentrating on the food, wine and conversation who cares? Highly recommended.
