Nice place to watch the world go by. Excellent list of drinks - something for everyone. Danielle was very attentive and made sure we were well watered and nourished. Good selection of tapas and snacks. Well recommend.

The tapas are amazing, great service and good wine selection. Have the mushroom pate or the beef short rib tapas, just Yum.

Great location on the lake front, classy decor, simple, but adequate menu and excellent food quality. Vast drink options and importantly, first class service. You won’t find a better all round eating experience in Queenstown.

There for a light meal and drink. Lovely compact bar with luxe country style decor with very appealing ambience. A quiet night (about one third full) which made it most enjoyable. Very comprehensive drinks menu and a good variety in the tapas menu -- the...venison koftas and Goat Cheese Onion tart were nice, but it might be separation from kitchen, meals were warm rather than hot. Out of stock of decaf coffee and the coffee that was ordered was only warm. They did overhear my comment and offer to remake. Ordered a dessert but the coffee arrived first and the dessert went missing in action despite a fairly long wait, so had to ask for it to be taken of the account. Staff weren't that apologetic or concerned. Nice enough evening but staff were a bit sub standard - somewhat casual and more interested in talking to each other. Didn't seem to fussed by the shortcomings which in reality weren't that significant, but without receptive staff to stay on top of service and to show some empathy, the small faults became quite annoying. They really were not that professional. Pity https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g255122-d1639340-r884480776-Eichardt_s_Bar-Queenstown_Otago_Region_South_Island.html#More

Gorgeous, sumptuous surroundings, we felt like we'd stepped back in time. The staff were friendly and immaculately attired. We had a Bollinger Champagne Cocktail and an Espresso Martini to start, both of which were exquisite. We had a couple of snacks and if you like...seafood chowder you have to taste theirs it was divine!! Very special bar with professional and unpretentious staff. We loved it, and would definitely go back again.More

Great efficient friendly staff. Decor is different and subtle and is very nice. NO loud background music. NO wooden floors with wooden chairs that loudly scrape. Returned 2 nights later. Have tried their seafood chowder, most of the tapas menu and their crème brûlée is...fabulous. Bar stools, small and large tables, outdoor tables. Customers are never rushed.More

Ate here one evening. Really enjoyed a superb chowder, lots of seafood in there including a whole scallop. My wife had a goats cheese tart and loved it as well. Overall a classy place and worth calling in if you are in Queenstown.

We were fairly disappointed by our drinks and meal at Eichardt's Bar after reading so many positive reviews. Service was friendly but a bit slow. The food was not great - lamb ribs were fatty and hard to eat, fresh bread was dry and overbaked,...and the seafood chowder was fairly bland. The views of the lake are nice, and the cocktails were fine, but with so many great spots in Queenstown, I don't know that we'd be eager to return.More

Nice environment. Expensive we’ll made cocktails at joy-killing slow pace. Pie with goat cheese was delicious, lamb legs no so much.

The seafood chowder is exceptional and the calamari and wagyu salad are also very good. Service was as good as could be expected on a very busy evening.

Waterfront. Ambience. Quaint. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend. Had the Legendary seafood chowder. They’ve earned that title. Rhubarb martini “The award winner” was quite good. Go there.

Great location and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our plate of oysters with some local bubbles. Cocktails list was very good too. Friendly service.

Classy, intimate and great service. Perfect for a cosy pre-dinner drink by the fire. Couldn’t be faulted. We will be back.

What a fabulous place! Location, ambience, service everything absolutely superb! Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and so personable. Can’t wait to return to this gem of a place.

Great cocktails great atmosphere! Good little oasis ! Returned with my husband and we both enjoyed the mulled wine one day, the whisky cocktails another. The fresh oysters were to die for, the service is excellent! Lovely little place to stop before dinner or in...a winter day!More
