Beautiful surroundings, very inviting and great selection of cheeses. We ordered a shared platter for two and we were able to even choose our cheeses. I don't eat cow cheeses so I had sheep cheeses and my husband ate the cow cheeses. The platter was served with fruit, condiments, jams, crackers and bread. Our tea was served in beautiful china... Before doing the very unique wine cave tour, we came next door to here, to try the cheeses. We ended up having the five cheese platter, along with a nice glass of red. The staff were lovely and when our cave tour was ready, they were happy to package up the rest of our cheeses and keep them refrigerated for... More

We went to the cheesery as a stop in on our scenic drive back into Queenstown. We got the gourmet platter, you get to taste and select the cheeses you would like to go on the platter so it's all things you like. The staff have an incredible knowledge of the cheeses and the wines that will go well with... More

Had the 17.50 cheese platter as an afternoon tea with mulled wine. It was one of the best experiences I've had in NZ. You could try the different cheeses before committing to put it on your plate.

If you looking for some cheese tasting, this is the place. We randomly stopped in while passing by and we are glad we did. We were advised of the type of wine to go with our cheese (or beer in my case) which was great. I'm not a blue cheese lover, however I wanted more, especially combined with their accompaniments.... nice cheeses to sample and buy. the cheese boards looked good too. Lots of tourist stuff to buy and products - both local and from other parts of NZ. Some of the souvenirs had no place of origin labels so we suspected they were from overseas and that put us off

If you're into cheese, this is a must stop! Lots of free samples for you to taste prior to committing to your block of cheese! The cheese blocks range in size/price so you don't have to spend too much money if you only want a bit!

Enjoyed a lovely antipasto platter and bottle of wine from the deck outside of the cheese tasting rooms, overlooking the vineyard. Stunning.

After doing an amazing wine cave tour next door, we thought we'd quickly pop into the cheesery 15mins before it closed. We ended up getting the 5 cheese platter & a glass of wine because the staff were so welcoming & friendly enough to take in us late comers. Omg. The platter was amazing! Literally the best I've had. &... More
