The Coalfire restaurant that I experienced was upstairs from the bar, and it was a high-end casual steak place that served very good food. The standout to me was the amazing fries with paprika. The restaurant was a bit fancier than I expected -- white...More

This review is long overdue. We went to see a friend who was working only to find out he had a day off. But in his absence Patrick really looked after us and gave us great service. Ontop of the service the food was great.

Booked this on first table (luckily) because if I had paid full price I would have been even more disappointed. Ordered the meat platter, the steak was over cooked, the pulled pork had no sauce and was dry as. The fried chicken was ok and...More

A Ok steakhouse. Run out of quite a few menu items when we were there. Reasonably good steaks with good service.

There was confusion (on our part), with the time of our booking. Coalfire still accommodated us in another area :) Great menu selection from drinks, mains, side dishes an dessert. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Too expensive for the quality they served on the table. The steak was too thin and overcooked! The ribs was not looked and tasted like coal fired, more the stewed. The service and dining room decoration was nice.

A great little spot in the heart of Queenstown. Being a small place the atmosphere is wonderful, and food fantastic. Later at night there is a one man band playing, he’s definitely worth coming for too. Great place!
