went here at her indoors insistence, quite pleasantly surprised. On a rainy ,cold Dunedin night [is there any other kind ] it was warm and cosy, very comfortable armchairs and couches. Its kind of dark in here, with nooks and cranies, draped off areas,so I like that you could just park up and relax at a coffee table,in a comfy leather armchair ,and have... More

We enjoyed a very good seafood chowder (rich, cheesy sauce, large slabs of sourdough bread) and a delicious peppered fish with sad and French Fries - absolutely delicious. Both os these meals were of sufficient size that one meal easily fed both of us. Lovely warm welcome and friendly staff - highly recommended.

Caught up with a friend on a miserable rainy day. Coffee was awesome and staff were friendly and very efficient at their jobs. Most of the food looked to die for. Thanks

Ever stayed in a hotel and not felt like eating there, well here is a great little place to have a meal at. They do take away as well as sit down, and they also do great coffee. Open from 8am - late it is great on my way to the office to be able to drop in and have... More

Very last minute selection while wandering the streets. The name attracted me and it's vibe from looking through the window. Very warm and cozy feel with the asthetics, good night time cafe catch up sort of place. Leather couches with coffee tables. Tables for meals are around that area. I ordered food since being out on a train all day... More

Hotcakes Souffle Omelette Vanilla Latte Pineapple Smoothie Had breakfast here and the food was delicious. Plenty of food in the portions so consider splitting if you aren't super hungry. The hotcakes were light, fluffy, and sweet. The omelette came with several toppings and was very good. The drinks were also made to order and were very tasty.

I thought we had found the best ever schnitzels in Hamburg Germany, until we ate here. A very thick beef schnitzel, perfectly cooked, crumbed and covered with a tasty mushroom sauce, a baked potato with sour cream, vegetables in a separate dish with cheese on top. Yum. I prefer my steaks well done, so this schnitzel with a hint of... More

Went there on Friday evening for a glass of wine and some nighttime snacks. Comprehensive wine list. The bartender was helpful in suggesting wine produced in Otago region. Atmosphere was great.
