Went here on a thursday night, ordered pork belly, it came with a potato rosti which I think was reheated in the microwave, also luke warm beans and 3 cherry tomatoes slightly warmed. Could hear a lot of pinging of a microwave throughout the evening, good service though and cider.

With it being a Sunday night on a miserable night it was great to find The Craic and it's good food and wine after finding a lot of places closed for meals.

Good food, great service, and lovely surroundings. Sitting by the fire is blissful, if you're after somewhere cosy and warm to relax during winter, this is a great spot.

Time for a nice beer sitting outside the Craic in the Octagon watching Dunedin go by, really good beers and a excellent menu and special board.

Came here for my husband's birthday brunch, I had never been in before. It's a lot more cosy than it looks from the outside! Food was really nice, I had bacon and eggs and husband had the American hot cakes. Overall we enjoyed our visit very much- plus they're in the Entertainment Book!

We sampled the hare and the seafood chowder. Both were excellent, and the service was friendly & prompt. Would definitely return here on future visits to Dunedin.

Very hearty pub food . A nice environment with a nice log fire . A good choice for the depths of winter . Not spectacular but does the job.

Popped in here for lunch and were not disappointed. We chose the omelettes with three choices of filling and side salads. Food was quickly served, well presented and more than we could eat! Coffees were also good. Outdoor seating with the sun on our backs made for very ambient dining. Do try this one.

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. They were really busy but we decided to go in anyway we ordered but were at no stage told there would be almost an hours wait for food which when it did arrive was ok but not fantastic can't say I would rush back!

Unfortunately I made the mistake of visiting Dunedin during the Easter weekend! After a wasted round hike to the railway station to see something that I found closed, I thought I’d earned myself an alcoholic drink as a reward however due to the archaic licensing laws, and the fact the kitchen had just closed so the pub too was about...
