Friendly local pub, suitable for families and disabled patrons as well. Great attentive service throughout the night, food was just standard pub food nothing amazing but was enjoyable and decent portion sizing, have had better food elsewhere for same pricing though.

We visited The Brickworks on a Monday for lunch. Not many patrons so very quiet but lovely and warm, very comfortable. One meal of fish and chips, lovely gurnard with crisp batter, really tasty. Other meal was mixed grill, the steak would rate as one of the best for a very long time. Service really good, friendly attentive waitress.

Had some bar menu food which was tasty and quick then the following week went back and had a delicious sit down meal. Food was great and the staff were fantastic.

It's a pub menu in a pub environment. Menu selection was ok - had a mussel dish for one and the pasta dish for the other. Food was fine. Issue with Entertainment Book as the transaction was Redemmed before an admission that one dish was an Entree, not a Main. A bit pedantic given he relative value of the Entree.... More

This is a local for us which we use 2 or 3 times each year, but were disappointed this time. The service was good on a not so busy friday evening, with staff attentive and smiling with it. We went for the Fish and Chips which is usually Blue Cod and for the first time found the batter oil sodden... More

You may think this is just another bar but when you dine at the restaurant it has a clear point of difference. The food is nicely cooked, well presented and there is plenty of it. We took the unusual step of needing a doggy bag to take excess pasta home. It was just as yummy the next day. If you... More

We go periodically to this eatery and it always seemed a bit noisy. We dined here last early on a Sunday evening when there were several large family parties and neither the restaurant nor bar was crowded. We sat at the end of the "dog leg" nook, and it was wonderfully quiet. S had a chicken Ceasar salad and I... More

This is our fourth visit, the food is fantastic, portions generous, staff are always friendly and helpful, relaxed atmosphere, we always walk in and they have been able to accomodate us each time. Seafood chowder is delicious and the steak with prawns one of our fav's. Keep doing what your doing!

Had not visited previously as it always seemed very busy and were unable to get a booking. So we visited for a lunch several weeks ago and found a very welcoming staff and an ideal lunch choice. As a result of this visit we decided to have a main evening meal last Sunday. A new menu gave some new choices... More
