Make up a Greek salad and let Pedro’s do the rest. Great lamb feeds 2 comfortably and the potatoes are great as well.

Read the reviews. Ignore anything not 100% raving about the food. Order half of what you think you need (yes, orders are THAT BIG!). Drive home (or take a taxi back to you hotel). Eat yourself silly. Eat leftovers for two days. Amazing!
For a quick, easy and tasty evening meal, I would recommend this place. The lamb and potatoes are always cooked perfectly, occasionally a little fatty but nothing too bad. A great alternative when you can't be bothered cooking a roast at home.
In the pre earthquake days Pedro's was a Christchurch institution and his lamb shoulder was his signature dish. Though you no longer get to eat it in the restaurant, now you can take it home with you and it has lost nothing of its value...More

The lamb is great, well cooked and I thought, well seasoned. I just wish they had plain old really good roast potatoes rather than scalloped. Apart from that, if you get this then add your own vegetables you can easily feed 5 or 6 people.
