5 of us had a quick dinner here before the Court Theatre last month. The food (3 x thai salads - fantastic - & 2 x caesar salads) and service was great and the place was buzzing when we sat down at 6pm on a Friday night..... the noise levels were unbearable though; made it v hard to hear my... We called in here for dinner pre concert. They were already rather full with tables reserved but didn't think twice about making room for us (unlike the guy next door who looked more annoyed that we walked into his seemingly empty bar) The service was quick and the food divine!! I had salmon and my partner the pork belly and... More

One of the best lunches in Christchurch. I loved the outdoor area which catches the midday sun just perfectly! We tried three different entrees, and all decided on the beef rib for main. Everything was amazing! The food was seasoned so beautifully, and perfectly portioned. Highly recommend this amazing place. Staff? Tick. Ambiance? Tick. Food? Tick tick!!!!

Wonderful place with great character and atmosphere. Food is amazing, particularly the calamari and their home made dip is too good to describe. 100% recommend, have been back several times, food and service is consistently great.

Enjoyed a very pleasant brunch on a Saturday. We were greeted and seated in a friendly manner and served promptly. We were in around 11 so there were other diners but the place was not packed and noisy but comfortable. The food was well presented and good.

Came here on a whim with my partner for dinner. We got a nice quiet table and decided on the Garlic Loaf and the Olives as starters. For mains I ordered the Sirloin steak and my partner ordered the Chowder. The Sirloin was perfected grilled, just as I ordered it. My partner enjoyed her Seafood Chowder, both the atmosphere and... Really enjoyed our nachos and beer at Pedal Pusher on the beginning of our trip, so we came back again before flying out of Christchurch! Good service, prices and food. Recommend!

Came here for the first time ever. We had reserved an area for pre drinks before a league game. Communication before hand with Seth was impressive and from the moment we walked in until the minute we left, despite being absolutely packed, we were looked after so well! Food was outstanding and served at the time we asked for it,... More
