As a regular visitor and big fan of Procope was really disappointed today with a group of friends for breakfast. Not overly busy but took 1 hour to be served breakfast, drip fed plate by plate to the point where I hadn't started my meal when half the others had finished. Normally I'm quite relaxed about this but was surprised... More

This is solely based on the cabinet food and coffee. I ordered a takeaway coffee which was nice but took ages to come. I think it was about a 15 minute wait for a takeaway coffee. I also ordered a peice of chocolate and cranberry slice which was stale to the point I had one bite and threw it away.... More

Coffee is consistently good & service prompt & friendly. A great selection of delicious cakes & slices reasonably priced and with half size treats for just $2.50 - a lovely finish to a meal. My husband enjoyed his big breakfast. I chose a very nice sandwich as the selection in cabinet & menu was limited. Will keep it on our... More

We visit this establishment often, consistently good. Recommended to locals and visitors, conveniently located on the main road between the city and the airport

We just stopped in here while walking about, and found it to be a friendly coffee house with more to offer than just coffee, tea, and sweet treats. There was also a small selection of salads and other savories to eat. Although we were just passing through, there seemed to be several locals stopping in, too, which lead us to... More

Great food and excellent coffee. We have eaten here on three occasions over two visits to Christchurch. Having eaten lunch sand a brunch, we are keen to try breakfast tomorrow. The food we have experienced has been fresh and tasty, and breakfast promises organic free range eggs. As a couple dining out we need to find a place that serves... More

Visited with 3 colleagues, everyone loved the coffee. I had flat white which is the best I ever had. The stuff are friendly. There's also a carpark, very convenient. Definitely will visit again.

My wife and I regularly take the time on weekends to stop in at Procope and have a relaxing breakfast fairly priced for the quality breakfast you get. We haven't found a better cafe in Christchurch. I love their big breakfast and the fact that it comes served on a hot plate - no worries about your food getting cold.... More

Procope is an iconic Christchurch cafe. We are now in a new building on Fendalton Rd (on the way to the airport from the city). Our coffee is roasted locally at Hummingbird and we have 6 varieties to take home. We have a range of cabinet food which changes daily as well as a breakfast and lunch menu. We are licensed with a focus on local beer, cider and wine.
