Stumbled across cascade by mistake and glad we did! What a brilliant vibe and warm location. The young bar staff were helpful when picking cocktails and dazzled us with their cocktail making flair. Live music was a great touch as was having smoking and non smoking spaces to accommodate everyone. Felt upmarket yet relaxed and somewhere we could happily spend a long time. Would highly recommend and revisit.

What a delightful little place ,,actually not that small, as they have seats upstairs too we noticed. Josh, our waiter, barman AND Maitre'd was wonderful and made our night ~ Thanks Josh, you deserve to be paid well for all you do, and we hope you do.
The food was great, although it did take a while to get our mains, which Josh was very apologetic about, but it wasn't your fault Josh. Maybe it's due to two (or maybe more), restaurants, using the same kitchen. As the food was coming from 'The Soul Quarter' restaurant next-door, and bought through the alleyway.
We really appreciated the vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options

Had a fab night here, such a great spot. Loved the ambiance outside with the fairy lights, and the decor inside is lush too. I had some great cocktails, the friends I was with had beer and wine. We were all really impressed with the select. Great music and a really lovely waitress called Connie. Can't wait to go back to this gem!

Wanted to pop into Soul Quarter for dessert and a cocktail but it was fully booked and occupied. They referred us onto their ‘overflow’ sister next door bar called Cascade.
In this bar they offered the exact same menu in Soul Quarter for us to view.
The service here was okay, I think that it should have been nicer and faster considering that we were the only guests seated in the whole of downstairs.
I had the Chocolate Marquise. I wish it hadn’t of been deconstructed. Good flavours but I would have enjoyed having it whole, not separated into little spoonful’s smeared all over the plate. I am not a fan of this modern day dissecting of desserts.
The cocktails we had were as they should be thank you.
Wont be back.

i had (duck & beef confit ,hand cut agria batons jus and garlic aoli] i got chips cooked in duck and beef fat .confit is duck cooked in its own fat etc. im 65 and cant remember the last time i returned a meal .the staff dealt with it well offered another meal.i had a burger and it was good . thanks ron jansen

Delicious food and equisiste coctails. Highly recommend tappas menu. Great way to work through the menu and try all items and share with friends.

A casual Show weekend brunch with friends turned out to be a most pleasurable dining experience at Cascade.
Difficult to choose the Tapas as they all sounded great but we went with-
Smoked Fish Croquette, French Goat's Cheese Mushrooms, Fried Chicken Waffles, an offering of 4 sliders - we chose to have one of each and an obligatory bowl of fries. now these tapas are mighty generous serves and we probably over ordered a little given that we are used to much smaller servings but I hasten to add that they were all finished!
The combination of flavours in each dish were fantastic but we thought that the chicken waffles had a slight edge over the other tapas and were a standout. But then so were the beautiful smoked fish croquettes. Each dish was generous, beautifully cooked and presented. We would be very happy to return and order any of these again and I'm sure that we will do.
Our server welcomed us and was bright, informative and efficient - it didn't go unnoticed that she is in the minority who can carry several plates on one arm - a skill sadly lacking with most waitstaff today.
The venue is small but has a great atmosphere and melds perfectly into a fabulous courtyard.
Highly recommend a visit to Cascade.

Great staff, great food, great drinks, great location, great vibe! I love rocking up with mates just grabbing a few casual drinks in the bar or sitting in the courtyard on a nice day. Often there's live music on.
I can attest that their attached sit down restaurant with exquisite food makes for a perfect date too. I dunno - just rock up, find the area that looks like your vibe, and they look after ya.
Extra for experts, one of my fave things is to have a boogie on the dance-o-mat (not part of it but really close by) afterwards!

Fantastic service, very patient. Some of the cocktails were AMAZING, others an acquired taste. The decor was gorgeous. Definitely recommend!

We had our work function here and it was amazing!!! Nothing was a problem, food was awesome, cocktails were exceptional and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We were well looked after!! Currently organising our next event there!!!
