We went for their Sunday roast. The roast was lamb and was cooked flawlessly. The roasted potatoes were well-seasoned and the service was great. The wine list was more than adequate and they had a full bar. The restaurant is in a small house located in the middle of the CBD. The decor inside was charming. It was a little... More

A very calm and nice place to keep conversations going. I loved the coffee and the pavlova was extraordinary. It's totally worth the salty price.

This is a great restaurant set in a charming little cottage. Staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. The mushroom ravioli to start was delicious and the Aged Fillet of Beef was superb, very tasty and cooked beautifully. There was a great wine selection also. Unfortunately I couldn't fit in dessert but they all sounded lovely.... More

This is such an impressive restaurant on so many levels. It has a charming appeal, set in a lovely cottage, helpful, attentive staff, a welcoming bar and delicious food. It is hard to imagine what else you need for a great night out. Worthy of all the accolades it receives. We had a lovely experience and recommend the place without... More

We did "Wellington on a Plate" (a regional food festival), and this was a clear winner out of about 5 visits. The Beef Wellington was melt in the mouth (eye fillet?) and the "pavlova burger" desert really special. Excellent service too. We ordered a side of fries which was necessary.

What can I say 10/10 on everything. Staff fab, friendly and knowledgable. Food faultless. We did WOAP menu of Beef Wgtn and Pav Burger. That desert was the best! We dine out and travel often and that would be in my top 5 ( hubby's number 1 desert). You nailed it Boulcott St Bistro.

For several weeks every year, the city has "Wellington on a Plate" where cafe and restaurant-goers get to sample two or three courses at many eateries. In tandem, there is also a best burger competition, with so many different burgers, it's amazing. The Boulcott Bistro is in a lovely little historic house, a few hundred metres from Willis Street in... More

Great food and great service. The family enjoyed the food throughly. A bit pricy but good food so no regrets. Ambience is good. Location is good. Very close to parking facilities. Easy stroll to the CBD and waterfront.
