I had read the Trip Advisor review about this cafe before visiting it so had some preconceived ideas about what to expect. The service was good although slightly disorganised despite the best efforts of the Manager who appeared to be trying to do everything, the other staff appear to be untrained and unsure. Food was delicious I had broccoli and... More

We asked about menu to a waiter, he was standing next to menu. The waiter pointed "it's there". Yes, I knew! So asked to give a menu to us, but he refused to pass. I took menu myself, and had seats. Then, I asked to a different waiter, "Can I order?" And he said "You have to go to the... More

There was four of us and the wait for our coffee and food was way to long. In fact, our food came BEFORE our coffee. The coffee was only warm and not hot but the food was nice.

Booked a group of 12 for Sunday lunch. It was not very busy so am very disappointed on 4 fronts. Although we booked an early lunch (12:30pm) 3 of the mains were not available! 2 of the meals the waitress told us about when taking the orders. The 3rd she told us after she returned from the kitchen. How can... More

Great location and the service was quick and the food and drinks were served in quick time. The food was better than expected. The only bad point was if you sit outside you must pay in advance, makes one think we were thieves

On a short visit home I went to lunch with my family and we stumbled across this little beauty of a cafe. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating to my sons food allergies. I was then able to order him a gluten, dairy, egg free pulled pork burger with kumara fries which he demolished! My sister had the pulled... More

I'd been to this cafe for a couple of takeaway coffees a few years back and not thought much of the service, however this time it was a gorgeous, hot, sunny day and we decided to have lunch overlooking the quay. I ordered the eggs benedict on hash with bacon and was blown away! It was to die for, absolutely... More

First time in Wellington from Australia. First came across this cafe while on walk to the Harbour. The charm and character of the Maori culture is what drew us to this cafe. We had the eggs Benedict and enjoyed cultural influence they put on this meal which was very enjoyable. The tables and bean bags set out on the grass... More

What a great, relaxed place to grab a rather late lunch. Lovely friendly and efficient staff and although they appeared busy, had their finger on the pulse! Hubby had good looking steak sandwich with very tasty chips/fries. The kid had a pulled pork hamburger off the kids menu and I was well catered for with the delicious corn and chickpea... More
