Average producers and (today - staff training?) average service but from pleasant, smiling staff. The Archade is actually shared with a second catering outlet as well as some high end ladies fashion outlets. Make sure you sit at the correct table or you will be asked to move - quite teratorial really. But it is really all about the building.... More

Being hidden away in The Bank Arcade makes it actually better - as no traffic. Good food, good coffee, good staff. Had breakfast here - Defo recommend it.

We enjoyed our breakfast at Smith the Grocer. I had porridge with banana and berry compote. My husband had French toast with the same toppings. Both were delicious. I enjoyed looking at the various old pictures and old memorabilia they had around the dining room. It is located inside the old ANZ bank building. Right outside their door in the... More

This cafe from the parent chain is a good one but not visible from the street. In fact one has to walk into the building to find it. Good coffee and good cabinet selection of fresh choices.

We stopped here for coffee and a snack. We ordered a scone which they toasted and it was the best ever! The oaty caramel slice was great as was the chocolate brownie which had pieces of chocolate in it. Son did say his hot chocolate was a little week but the coffee was excellent.

Oasis of calm to begin your day. Could not have happened upon a better breakfast. This was a happy just off the beaten track of a find, tucked away in a delightful old bank building.

Finally found a place in New Zealand making five star coffee. Breakfast was also great. If I lived here I'd be back every day.

A beautiful day in Wellington, made better by a great range of food to choose from and friendly service. Definitely a great lunch time spot, but be early to avoid the rush.

Have had breakfast several times here over the last few years when staying at nearby hotels / apartments and I wanted a change. Each time I've enjoyed the full English breakfast which is delicious and is perfect to keep you going all day.
