This was very well done with most attentive service for a rainy afternoon in Wellington. Lovely to see a range of goodies on tiered plates and fun to sample each well crafted one. For a group of about 11 this marked a very special occasion and Logan Brown lived up to its fine reputation.

Went to LB in May this year - second visit. They outshone the first and that was superb. Was a busy night and no spare tables when we arrived apart from our reservation, which was to be fair a later time in the evening. This was not a super place to sit and they could see it wasnt quite right,... More

This place rocked. I was hammered when I went there and the food still tasted off the planet. The wife wasn't that happy with me though. Great food!

This was my first visit here with a dear friend who had booked us a 7 Course Degustation Menu experience as an early Birthday celebration. I will remember this night for a long time to come, the food, the ambience, the wine selection, everything was 5 star and more all the way. Our Wait Staff were incredibly well informed of... More

Went to Logan's for a birthday lunch, and everything was outstanding. Had the filet steak and lamb with the passion fruit brulet for desert, all flawlessly prepared just as expected. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

This is a converted Bank building, with interesting history and a restaurant that can readily compete with the best. Good service, good food, no exceptional food, and popular. There are few places in Wellington where booking is essential, but if you want to select the highlight tables, and there is a difference, then I would definitely book. It is a... More

The whole dining experience was truly enjoyable from the well crafted menu and deliciously cooked meal to the attentive staff who were there when you needed them but were not hovering around the table. Top marks Logan Brown.

Special night out while on a quick getaway. Five course degustation menu with marched wines. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, explaining each course and the characteristics of the matched wine. The courses are small but by the time you get through them all you'll need nothing more. The flavours are outstanding.

We had the 3 course set menu which was really good we had the wine match too. But we were stuck upstairs and I would rather be in amongst the crowd as I felt a bit isolated and at the mercy of our single waitress. But when I got back to the hotel i tucked into a bag of bhuja... More

Logan Brown has the perception of being Wellingtons finest dining establishment. In the past they have earned this reputation, however in recent visits I feel perhaps they have lost their edge with many other restaurants now able to deliver an exceptional food and dining experience at a fraction of the cost. The Paua Ravioli is iconic to Logan Brown and... More

Description
Awarded TWO HATS Good Food Awards 2013, 2014, 2015 and Supreme Winner Restaurant of the Year NZ 2009. Nearly 20 years after Steve Logan founded the restaurant, Logan Brown is still showing newcomers how to do fine dining. The neo-classical interior remains as plush as ever, drawing diners who wouldn't normally brave the upper reaches of Cuba St, while competent, confident service encourages adventurous choices from the wine list. The kitchen, headed by Shaun Clouston, continues to turn out innovative, but not gimmicky, food. There's a strong emphasis on local and seasonal flavours, with a nod to the huntin', shootin' and fishin' enjoyed by the restaurant's founders. Classic Kiwi flavours are embraced and showcased with a sense of humour. In brief: style, service and food you can bank on Said international guest judge, Ralph-Kyte Powell, "If I had to select an international flagship for New Zealand cuisine. Logan Brown would be hard to go past"
