Went there with my family. Food was really late and only one lady was serving the food. Don't know why they don't employ more staff since it's pretty busy. They don't serve all food at once. When you get one meal you need to wait ages to get the next meal. We almost gonna miss the movie that supposed to... More

This was our choice of eatery on our last night in New Zealand, and boy it couldn't have been worse! My original intention was to try the Korean menu next door in the Mudan, but my wife refused to enter the premises saying there was no one dining there (6.30pm on a Saturday night) so she said she had eaten... I used to love coming here and this was our go to place for lunch. However now the Yum Cha does no longer get offered and you can only order from the menu. The food itself is also different and no longer as good as it used to be. Very disappointing.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. Yum Cha is a family tradition for us back in Canada, and living here now, we were hoping to find a place. Every time I have gone (three times!!!) the service was appalling. Today for example water but no glasses. Tea cups but no tea. No chopsticks. When the server finally got us... More

Food was not great and service was not good either. Not much variety as well. If you are not fussy probably the portion and the average taste if good enough with the value you're paying.

Have been a couple of times lately with different friends and have really enjoyed both times. Don't expect too much of the service but the food more than makes up for it. Reasonable prices and large portions.

Popped in here after a movie and was happy with our choice. I LOVE yum cha and this is the first place I've tried in Tauranga as we usually head to Hamilton for yum cha. Not a huge yum Cha menu but enough to make your tummy happy. We had an assortment (this is why I love yum Cha) of... More

Lovely restaurant. We went for lunch and had yum Cha, but could have had a all you can eat option, but as I had never tried yum Cha went for this option, totally delicious and hot. Great selection of food. You choose how many of what dishes you want as they bring them out one at a time, lovely, lovely.... More

The restaurant has pretty decent yum cha (dim sum) dishes. We were there at 2.30pm and they were still open - which is great considering the rest of the Chinese restaurants around the area were already closed. We were the only ones there, and the lady (who we learnt later owned the restaurant) waited patiently on us. She recommended the... More
