Not far from Rotorua Motel is a great takeaway shop, with wonderfully fresh seafood and a very good price. The locals love this place. There are a wide range of food options from beef burgers to full seafood meals and rice dishes. The service is helpful, kind and very quick. I will eat here again.

Oppies is one of the best takeaways in Rotorua. I always order my favorite meal of Duck Noodle Soup. The restaurant makes me feel like "Home". The food they serve is like the dishes I eat with my family back in my home country. Oppies food feels like "home" to me it reminds me of my grandparents <3. Thanks Oppies My... More

We visited this fish and chips shop again after 1 year to see if they can maintain the same standard. We have ordered the same food: deep fried bluff oysters, deep fried king prawns and 1 scoop of chips. We have ordered 1 piece of tarakihi fish this time. Everything comes as good as 1 year ago. Amazing. Light and... More

Chose this place based on reviews but was expecting too much obviously. Chips were soggy not special at all, my local chippy at home does it better

I have to admit my family and I have been struggling to find a decent Chinese Restaurant in New Zealand. Oppie's Chinese takeaway was excellent and well priced. We also tried the fish and chips which was also good. Highly recommended!!

Menu could be easier to use. Ordered online but still had to wait ages for food. Food was good and well priced.
