Busy, central cafe with great food, and a fantastic atmosphere for meeting up with friends. Great, obliging service. Loved the seafood chowder - perfect for lunch after days of cruise ship food. High recommended.

A great central location on the corner of Dickens and Hastings. Inside and outside seating available and "small" clean toilets. A wheelchair would be impossible for the loos but okay in the cafe. It is all on the level. Good range of food and drinks and seating reasonably comfortable. It was busy with a lot of tourists but also some... More

Beautiful looking cabinet food and a good breakfast and lunch menu. Three gluten free slice options, although all served amongst the normal foods so I don't feel that it would be safe for those with Coeliacs, such as my young daughter. She chose the chocolate brownie away from other foods, and staff were happy to wash fresh tongs for her... More

We came into Napier for a stroll around and came upon this cafe. We weren't too hungry but decided to get a coffee each. Wow! Seriously great coffee - all the elements a great coffee has! Creamy, rich, full bodied. We didn't eat anything but the food looked great. I will come back here for coffee next time I'm in... More

Just me and my hubby called in for breakfast. A huge selection of goodies great you at the counter, a bit over whelming, settled on the breakfast meal... very nice. Great service, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Yes ... I would visit again

Was there for lunch n noted range of lunch menu was limited. Ordered one of those on its signboard but food quality was below par as the dish was way above the norm when compared to other cafes within the vicinity. Service however was prompt but not v friendly. Think this cafe is frequented mostly by tourists/ outside town visitors... More

As a local, I have been to this cafe many times before. The location is quite good. It is close to parking spots, and there are some stores in the immediate vicinity. It is also a short walk from/to Emerson Street (main shopping area in Napier). I like the coffee and the desserts. I have never had lunch or a... More
