We ended up at the Asian Emporium right on the main drag. Highly rated on Tripadvisor, we had lunch/dinner. The salt and pepper calamari was excellent. Their 12 hour braised lamb over polenta with peas, roasted garlic and fruit caviar was apparently award winning and...More

Very nice setting. The food and service were very good. Quirky Art Deco interior. Well worth a visit if only for a drink

Our meal at The Emporium was delicious. There were 6 of us and everyone of us were delighted with the meals and the service.

A place that has put a but of effort into its decor. We enjoyed the old movies playing on the various screens. The food was OK, good portions and resonably priced. Good service from the German boy behind the bar.

Ate our meal outside on a sunny Napier day. Opportunities for shade or sun. Meal was too large and we could have shared one between us. Very good wine selection.

Lovely place, got a really nice feel to it. Had Eggs & Ham and a decaf coffee. The coffee was lovely and creamy, but lacked the coffee and was only slightly warm. The eggs and ham was very nice, no major complaints except the poached...More

I think the word 'eclectic' best describes this establishment. Napier promotes itself for its 'art-deco' styling, yet the ambience this establishments' styling created, appeared to be of an earlier era. The menu left us bewildered. It offered a disjointed array of entree's, mains & sides...More
