Thank you. We both loved your restaurant and your food. We could tell that a lot of love went into both. I ordered tofu spring rolls andy partner ordered chicken cashew. Delicious, perfectly spiced. While were visiting we will be going back to the CHCH...restaurantMore
We arrived unannounced hoping to get a table for two in a very busy restaurant. The staff asked us to wait a few minutes whilst they organised some tables and sure enough a couplie of minutes later we were sitting at our table and studying...the extensive menu. We have eaten here before but not for some time so it was great to see our favorites were still there (Pad Thai is a must) and still just as tasty and well presented as last time. The choice of drinks was OK although frankly with NZs love affair with Craft beer I was a little disappointed with their range however that was the only think I could fault. We loved the service and the incredibly high standard they achieve for a restaurant which doe not charge like a wounded bull with their pricing. we shall returnMore
Very disappointed tonight, no drink order taken, inattentive staff, entree delivered while menus left on table. Crispy pork was days old. Massaman and red curry were good.
Roti was poor but as this isnt traditional Thai might be expected.
Big let down after the last...time we came.More
Food was fantastic here! I came here on a friends suggestion and was not dissapointed. Joy was our server and she was very attentive and kind. She took care of all of our needs with a smile and gave us suggestions about what to do...in town. I will be back next time im in Napier!More
with a group of ladies lunching we ordered a variety of dishes. Most were very happy with their selection BUT 2 of them were not! the crispy pork and chicken were so overcooked and dry one of our ladies could not eat her meal. Although...kudos to the restaurant they did not charge her.More
Ordered at 6:10pm and was told 15 to 20 minute wait. Arrived 6:30pm and paid, told only a short wait. 7:20 my order was ready. Almost an hour wait and only an apology offered to me and the other 10 customers experiencing the same problem....A 5 minute delay is acceptable but 50 minutes. If this was dine in it would've been free dessert or meal in any other restuarant. Just because it's takeaway doesn't make it right to not offer the same services. Only complaining as this isn't the first time dealing with this issue.More
Had ordered a takeaway last night and was extremely disappointed. For 2 stir-fry dishes and a chicken fried rice - 3 roti bread, costing $75 plus.... Both of the stir fry dishes were sparse. One dish was crispy pork - it had 6 bits of...pork and the other was supposed to be lamb - which was thinly sliced equating to approximately 50 grams worth - to top it off, the veges were cauliflower, carrot, broccoli and onion - which was nice but again, this was sparse. I have ordered here before when the takeaway dish is squashed down with plentiful food... the Roti bread was not it's usual... very dry. - Rostering of chefs for last night's poor effort should be dealt with by owners.More
There was exceptional staff on this night. We all enjoyed most menu dishes that our large group chose. I did think that the Pad Thai could have had more vegetables in it and the lava fish dish was exciting but the flavour could have been...improved. We will return as they do include vegetables in most dishes and they don’t smother everything with coconut cream. For once an Asian restaurant served beef that wasn’t tough! You will pay for the rice separately and it’s a bit pricy.More
