Very large menu with lots of choice, prices where reasonable, and the food was good, we had a group of 9 and our food came out all at once. Service was prompt and friendly, and classic pub atmosphere.

After having dinner here I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. The biggest choice of meals anywhere with varied prices. Something for everyone.Fantastic service too with nice surroundings. Couldn't fault a thing.

Each time we make a trip into Hastings, we would stop by to dine in the Duke. They have great food and the ambiance is warm and friendly. Of course, they will screen all live rugby games on match nights. The best part would have to be their dessert trolley, something that we don't see much of these days.

Not the best arrival to walk through a group of drunken guys on a stag do. They left soon after. Not really what you'd expect at a family bar though. On to the food. It was ok. The Flinstone steak was tasty. I expected it to be slightly bigger as it was supposed to be 400g. The Mac Fish was... More

Nice food and good variety. Found it a bit expensive though. The accompanying drinks were very expensive. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was good

I had lunch here recently and had the corn fritters which were pretty good. I did find it odd that there was a hint of cumin (or similar ) in these but I like cumin so didn't find this off-putting. I'd eat here again (casual lunch only) on a nice day when it's feasible to sit in the courtyard. The... More

A week night and not many diners in. Waitress very cheerful but took ages to come back to take our orders. I had to wave at someone to come to our table. After time ticks by our entree never comes out so I get up to go ask at the servery at kitchen. We get our garlic bread in 5... More

Have'nt been here for some time, but always enjoyed visiting. Our main courses were of a very high standard & the cheesecake dessert was sublime. The restaurant can get really busy later in the week, so if you are seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, go earlier if you have the chance.
